Description
Increased concentrations of Apolipoprotein A1 are associated with reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. Increased concentrations of Apolipoprotein B 100 are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
This marker gives a ratio of these two apolipoproteins, which correlates with risk of cardiovascular disease.
