We start with an intake of your health history, family history, current health, diet, and symptoms. Our doctor might suggest blood tests to gather more information. What to Expect

Initial Functional Medicine Consultation

  1. Fill out two health questionnaires and a 6-day food diary (Swedish or English) (in advance).
  2. Thoroughly discuss your health, nutrition, medical history, goals & priorities. Identify underlying causes and symptom triggers. 
  3. Create an individually tailored health & nutrition plan and follow it until our next consultation.

Follow-up Consultation

After the initial lifestyle medicine consultation, our clients usually come back 3-4 times per year for a one-hour consultation designed to monitor your progress and make changes depending on your progress. Most of our clients report significant improvements in their health, energy, and overall well-being after just a few months.

Health Plan

Our advice and your health plan are personalised, meaning that we take into consideration the factors that are relevant to you, your lifestyle and your goals. Food, supplements (if needed), lab tests (if appropriate) and lifestyle advice are tailored to suit you. 

Our Therapists

Our team consists of a multidisciplinary team of registered nutritionists, medical doctors (external), and health coaches working together to promote optimal health for each individual. Maria Berglund Ranten leads the team and has 18 years of experience helping people with nutritional and lifestyle medicine in both London and Stockholm. She has a degree in nutrition from the University of Westminster and many other lifestyle medicine-related qualifications from the UK, and the US, including being the first person with full certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine in the USA.
